Myofibrillar Myopathies

There are several subtypes of MFM, named for the affected gene. Though there are many symptoms in common, each type has its own presentation. We are going to touch on all types and their variants. A diagnosis of myofibrillar myopathy leads to a lot of questions! However, since MFM is rare, many go unanswered. We've collected information from various websites, research reports, and our own experiences in an attempt to understand an unpredictable and widely-variable disease.
